Local Scandinavian showers
Fine eastern Europe

Central Europe increasingly west with risk of local thunderstorms
near/west of the Alps.
Tuesday
Fine and warm for much of southern Europe with plenty of sunshine. A
few local afternoon showers will form over northern Spain, more
frequent down the spine of Italy but still well scattered. Some risk of
a local heavy burst in the south. Fine and sunny in the Balkan States.
Local showers for western mainland Greece, whilst islands and much of
Türkiye will be dry.
Breezy in the north of France and into the Netherlands. Some cloud and
showers in central and east France, locally heavy/thundery downpours.
Fine with sunny spells for Germany and central-eastern countries from
Czechia to Hungary and Romania. A few showers over the Alps with
increasing cloud from the west. Showers into northern/eastern Poland,
these extending into Belarus and northern Ukraine.
Showers with a southwesterly breeze across the British Isles. Much of
Scandinavia will be fine under high pressure with a mix of cloud and
sun. A few local showers may break out in Denmark and nearby areas in
Sweden and Norway. Lower pressure to the northeast brings cool and
showery weather to Finland and the Baltic states. A strong northerly
wind blows into northern Finland with a broader area of rain here.
Wednesday
A notable westerly wind in west Iberia. Portugal will by dry, but
northern areas of Spain will see showers again, heavier than on Tuesday
with the risk of thunderstorms developing. Fine for the central
Mediterranean islands and much of central and southern Italy. Northern
Italy will likely see extensive showery outbreaks in the afternoon.
More fine and sunny weather for the Balkans, Greece, and Türkiye, only
an odd light showers in southernmost areas.
West for central and west France with a risk of thunderstorms.
Scattered showers possible in the west later with cloud fairly
widespread. A band of showers extends into west Germany and eastward
across the Alps, though not as heavy as in France. Dry though cloud in
the Low Countries. Warm in Germany, Czechia, and Hungary, substantially
dry with sun in the latter two countries. Dry to the east with a mix of
cloud and sun.
Showery for southern parts of Norway and Sweden, a few showers in
Denmark as well. Some lingering showers in eastern Finland as well.
Northwestern parts of Scandinavia dry with mixed cloud and sun. The
Baltics similarly dry with cloud and sun.
